This is to Christian’s Mom & Dad….

Please first know that as a health care provider I have never done this in my 30 PLUS years of practice NOR have I ever been touched in the way you 3 have touched me today………..YOU all are more of an inspiration then you can EVER imagine………Leah, YOUR smile has burned a whole in my heart……..Ryan your compassion and the way you looked at your son’s MOM will forever be a part of my soul………….Christian, YOU are amazing…….YOUR cry immediately at birth was MUSIC to my ears and your mom yelled out….”that’s my son”………”he’s crying”………………YOU ARE SO LOVED……..

I am Michelle the Respiratory Therapist who had the honor of being a part of your son’s birthday…….HE IS BEAUTIFUL………….
At times our jobs become very routine…………..TODAY YOUR family reminded me once again why we do what we do…………..

Tonight I pray for all of you and your extended families…………Christian is an amazing little boy……….I know God has a BIG plan for him…..and HE Gave Christian an extraordinary set of parents to help him accomplish his job here on earth……………

God Bless you all,
Michelle

I don't know you...you don't know me...but I have been following your story for awhile now. I want you to know that my heart is sincerely breaking for you. You're not alone. I don't know what else to write as I haven't the words to type. I lost my son Matthew when I was in my 2nd trimester. I only say that so you'll know that in a small way I understand the feelings you are feeling. The moments you have had with Christian will live on in your hearts. You will never forget him. And I...will never forget him...never.

I came across your page through the network of other families who have birthed a child with Trisiomy 18. I just wanted to tell you what an inspiration you are too me. Your son is beautiful and has already touched so many hearts during his short but full days here on earth. I am sure God has a reason for sending him to earth for the time he was here.
Your smile and pure joy while holding your son fills my heart with joy. While I cannot begin to understand what you are going through as I have never lost a child, I hope that you find comfort in family, friends and that god helps to heal this hurt.

Ryan and Leah-
My heart aches for you both right now as I have just learned that on Friday, Christian went into Jesus's arms. I am sorry for all that you have had to go through and endure. Hold on to the fact that Jesus loves you all so much and that even before the beginning of time, He knew this day would take place and He knows the pain of your hearts.

Even those of us who have had to walk this same road, can comfort you and encourage you..... but only God knows the innermost parts of your heart and is able to truly heal the pain set before you. I pray that He ministers to your hearts in an intimate way. I pray that you feel His mighty presence and strong hand holding you during the next days and weeks. I pray that you will find shelter and rest within His embrace. He will walk you through each step...and when you can't walk....He will carry you.

Thank you for sharing your hearts with all of us and for sharing a piece of Christian. He is truly beautiful and a precious gift from God.

I am praying for you all and if you ever want to talk or even need an ear to listen...please feel free to email me at anytime and I can get in touch with you.

Our son, Joshua, has been with Jesus for almost 6 years. He will be forever imprinted upon our hearts and he is always present in our minds and in our conversations. His pictures grace the tables of my home....and each day it is a little easier to put that next foot in front of the other. You will make it.

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation...." 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Ryan and Leah,
What beautiful words from someone who's life that you and Christian have already touched. I think she says it all. Christian was a perfect miracle who was given to two incredible parents who God knew would Glorify Him through his life. The pictures you posted are breathtaking. Christian is so perfect and precious. Your joy is jumping off the pages of the pictures.
Thank you for sharing your son with us. Thank you for sharing Jesus with the world through him.
I will continue to pray for you with much love,
Kim
